At Bolivian market

Yesterday I was slowly walking the streets of La Paz and enjoying market buzz. Stopped at one stand with small, cute dresses of all type and colours. Woman approached and me with big smile just told her, how entertaining and original some of this work was. We started a random chat and somewhere in middle of it I mentioned. Oh, I can't really buy any I don't have children. She looked at me with tender smile on her face and told me. These all are for dogs. Moment of silence followed by loud laughter. What a hell, daily embarrassment is...

Until next time my beloved Buenos Aires

There could not be better way to leave this great city than by playing this song. Yes, I’m sad to leave, but there is lots of faith within me. Buenos Aires: My confession – Mi confesión

"Mi Confesion" by Gotan Project. The album is from their critically acclaimed 'Lunatico'. “My confession” I always liked this song a lot, but have never thought I would one day feel so close to it, as I do right now. Being in special city for two month now has opened up for me so many new things to learn, understand and feel. Thank you Buenos Aires and to everyone who made it possible. Wow, what an electric intensity, love, I feel so alive! Sad to leave, but in a need of motion to keep on breathing. It's the duality within...

My friend Magda just said

“Tengo tanta comodidad que no se como ponerme.” loose translation: ("I am so comfy, that I don't know how to position myself anymore.") Hilarious comment on our day, as we are sitting in apartment near Bariloche with spectacular view of lake Nahuel Huapi with heavy snow storm blasting into our big window. We are so relaxed and just chilling.

If I will ever want to have a house

I would like it to be like 'La Casona de Odile' This place with its garden, fireplace & nature feels so close to my heart. This truly is a special place on earth & in Patagonia. I'm so glad to stumble upon it. (Posted from WordPress for Windows Phone)

Antarctica: Crossing Drake Passage – nicknamed later to ‘Drake Lake’

I must say that sometimes not knowing too much about what’s ahead of you in life is the best prevention. I’ve been told few scary things about notoriously famous Drake Passage where three diffrent oceans meet. Just imagine the riot that can come out of three different enemies. There are always two scenarios: - happy party time = 'chill time' or - the one with all its madness = 'vomit at your pleasure party time'. Our two days crossing was the chilled one, as I’ve been told. Even captain Nicolay kept reminding me that it’s...

Antarctica: boarding ms Expedition with pleasant surprise

Being a last-minute passenger on the trip to Antarctica does not leave you with your bagpack being delivered to your cabin door, neither it provides with special Canadian Goose Winter Jacket, but that’s not why I’ve embarked on this journey in the first place. To be an around the world traveller, extra jacket would give me just additional cost of having to sending it back home, like I’ll have to do with my Antarctica book and journey certifications after my trip is finished. My last day in Ushuaia before embarking went fortunately...
